Brenda Ann Lauterberg, 44, of Heyworth, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Friday (Jan. 6, 2017) at home.

 

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, 107 E. Newton St., Heyworth, with Pastor Spencer McPheron and the Rev. Richard Gray officiating. Burial will be in Heyworth Cemetery, Heyworth. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Heyworth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brenda Ann Lauterberg memorial fund to be used for her children’s education, in care of Jessica Frink, P.O. Box 351, Heyworth, IL 61745. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Heyworth, in charge of arrangements.

 

Brenda was born Feb. 27, 1972, in Bloomington, a daughter of Robert and Joann Lush Nowlin. She married James P. Lauterberg on April 10, 1999, in Heyworth.

 

She is survived by her husband, James P. Lauterberg, Heyworth; her children, Jared Lauterberg, Joe Lauterberg and Addy Lauterberg, all at home; parents, Robert and Joann Nowlin, Heyworth; sister, Jean (Jerry) Frink, Heyworth; brother, Andy (Dawn) Nowlin, Heyworth; nieces and nephews, Josh Frink, Jessica Frink, Jake (Brittany) Frink and Michelle (Brad) Spencer; great-nieces and -nephews, Cora Frink, Brayden Spencer, Camden Spencer and Aniston Frink.

 

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

 

Brenda was a 1990 graduate of Heyworth High School. She was a registered nurse and worked at Manor Care, Normal, and was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Heyworth. She loved going to her children’s activities. Brenda was an incredible loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend to all.
