James L. Harrold, 74, of Clinton, IL passed away at 1:35 AM, January 5, 2017 at his family residence, Clinton, IL.

 

Services will be 11 A.M. Monday, January 9, 2017 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Pastor Scott Seynemeier officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 4 – 6 P.M. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the funeral home.

 

Memorials may be directed to Dr. John Warner Hospital Foundation.

 

James was born February 6, 1942 in Clinton, IL and was raised by C. Lee and Charlene Baker. He married Janet K. Callison April 10, 1983 in Clinton, IL.

 

Survivors include his wife: Janet K. Harrold, Clinton, IL; children: Jim (Dorothy) Harrold, II, Clinton, IL, Chris (Ira) Bryant, DeWitt, IL, Jeff (Hillari) Harrold, DeWitt, IL; step-daughter: Christy Witcher, Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren: JT Harrold, III, Brandon Bryant, Megan Wold, Wesley Harrold, Katie Witcher, Billy Clark, great-granddaughter: Sophia Carter; sisters: Charlotte (William) Newton, Ventura, CA, Charle Kline, Howell, MI; Suzan (Don) Schlesinger, Clinton, IL  and sister-in-law: Evelyn Harrold, Fort Worth, TX.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Bob.

 

James had worked for Wallace and Revere Copper and Brass Inc. before retiring from the DeWitt County Human Resource Center.
