James D. ‘Jim’ Mc Divitt, 51, of Farmer City, passed away at 2:50 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence.

 

Jim was born on April 2, 1965 in Des Moines, IA the son of Dale and Ella Joyce (Bivans) Mc Divitt.

 

Jim is survived by his parents, Dale and Joyce Mc Divitt of Monticello and brother, Jon Mc Divitt (Tammy) of Urbana.

 

Jim worked as a carpenter and was a member of the Woodlawn Country Club, Farmer City. He loved building things with wood, he was an auto racing enthusiast, and he enjoyed golfing.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held later.

 

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Woodlawn Country Club, Farmer City.
