Mabel Irene Oakley, 84, of Clinton formerly of Farmer City passed away at 11:35 P.M. Monday, December 12, 2016 at Manor Court, Clinton, IL.

A Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 16, 2016 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, IL with Larry Roberts officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Kenney Civic League Relay for Life or Kenney Fire Department.  Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City in charge of arrangements.

 

Irene was born February 22, 1932 at Farmer City, IL, a daughter of Elman C. & LouRee King Rittenhouse. She married Donald G. “Polk” Oakley October 8, 1955 at Farmer City, IL. He passed away January 12, 1985.

 

Survived by her children, Ann (Roger) Barta of Westland, MI;  Doug (Diana) Oakley of Kenney, IL;  Kirt Oakley of Clinton, IL;  Todd (Brenda) Oakley of Ottumwa, IA

Irene was a clerk at Walmart in Clinton before retiring.
