Gordon Lee "Gordie" Adams, 79, of Mansfield, died at 9:17 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 12, 2016) at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

 

Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mansfield United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St., with Pastor Ed Davis officiating. 

 

Burial: Mansfield Cemetery.

 

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Mansfield.

 

Memorials: Northern Piatt Fire Protection District, Mansfield. 

 

Survivors: his wife, Lois; daughters, Nancy (Doug) Smith, Farmer City, and Debby (Alex) Reynolds, Mansfield; son, Larry (Jill) Adams, Effingham; eight grandchildren; and sisters, Gloria Jayne Kersten, St. Charles, Mo., and Patricia Offenberg, New York, N.Y.
