Patricia Joan Maxwell, 81, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., passed away Thursday (June 23, 2016), in Murfreesboro, Tenn. 

Born in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn Comer.

She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Maxwell, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one son, Robert Doug Maxwell and his wife, Leilani, Clinton; two daughters, Kathy Fought, Sarasota, Fla.; and Julie Young and her husband, Johnny, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother, Thomas Comer and his wife, Linda, of Mattoon; four sisters, Carol Sue Colbert; Sandra Zeigler; Nancy Roseman and her husband, Ted; and Pamela Lane, all of Clinton; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Comer.

Her memorial service was 6 p.m. Monday at Redemption Baptist Church, 4110 Midland Road, Christiana, TN 37037. A visitation preceded the service.

The family has requested that donations be made to Redemption Baptist Church in her honor.
