Kenneth Jerome “Jerry” West, 81, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday (June 15, 2016) in Centerville, Ohio.
He was born May 15, 1935, in Ellsworth, to the late Louis Edward and Esther Skeen West.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Janice; children, Laura E. (Mike) Chrispen and Kenneth J. West; and grandchildren, Andrew and Kara Chrispen.
Jerry attended the University of Illinois and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jerry was a farm seed salesman for Pacific Grain, Farmer City, and a driving instructor for Wheeler Driving School, Beavercreek, Ohio.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. June 25 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Village benevolent fund or Christ United Methodist Church.
