Wayne E. Boggs, 85, of Glen Flora died on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at Dallas Care & Rehab in Dallas, WI of natural causes after a 1 1/2 year illness. Wayne was born on October 9th, 1930 in Illiopolis, IL to Charles & Margret (Hall) Boggs. Wayne married JoAnn Gantt on April 25th, 1951 in Riverton, IL.

He was a pipe fitter at N&W Railroad in Decatur, IL and also hobby farmed in IL. He lived in Mt. Zion IL for 20 years before moving to Wisconsin in 1982 where he dairy farmed until 1995. He resided in Glen Flora, WI from 1984 until going to the nursing home in 2015.

Wayne is survived by 3 sons; Alfred & Brenda Boggs and Michael & Cindy Boggs both of Glen Flora and Wayne Boggs, Jr. of Warrensburg, IL, 1 daughter; Margaret Boggs-Justice of Altoona, WI, 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, 1 sister; Muriel Fraikes of IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnne on February 3rd, 2011, his parents, 1 son Harold "Jack" Boggs, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Charles "Bud" Boggs and 1 sister Mary Randolph.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 21 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Pastor Wayne North officiating. Wayne's family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 24th at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
