Jack Howe

Jack L. Howe of Lincoln, died at 10:12 A.M. Sunday May 15, 2016 at his home.

 

Jack was born October 31, 1926 in Lake Fork Township, IL, the son of Abner and Maude Buckles Howe. He married Barbara Ann Shanle on March 4, 1950 in Mt. Pulaski, IL. She preceded him in death December 1, 1996.

 

He is the last of his immediate family.

 

Jack is a retired farmer. He served in WW II for two years in the United States Army. He was a member Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post #447 and the Lincoln Elks Club.

 

A memorial service for Jack will be held at 10:00am on Friday June 3, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will take place after the service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln. Where full military rites will be accorded by Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post #447. Memorials may be given in Jack’s name to American Legion # 447 of Mt. Pulaski or the Knights of Columbus Council #1250.
