Margaret L. Long, 92, of Clinton, IL passed away at 8:48 AM, March 21, 2016 at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center, Normal, IL.

 

Services will be 1 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2016 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Visitation will be 5 – 7 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL.

 

Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

 

Margaret was born February 14, 1924 in DeLand, IL the daughter of Wilson and Cecil (Longworth) Webb. She married Harry D. “Dale” Long April 10, 1943 in San Antonio, TX. He passed away January 6, 2008.

 

Survivors include her children: Frederick Long, Dallas, TX, Beverly Sereicikas, Duluth, MN, Joetta (Jerry Ishcomer) Gammage, Farmer City, IL and Gary (Deanna) Long, Clinton, IL; 6 grandchildren: Sara (Keith Volker) Trimble, Abby (Tyler) Ferguson, Sheryl (Damon) Wells, Greg (April) Long, Terence (Sherilyn) Long, Stephen (Teri) Long along with 9 great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

 

Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton, IL and retired from Wallace Business Forms after 24 years of service.

 

She enjoyed parachuting, motorcycle riding and traveling.
