David Wayne Reed 45 of Sullivan, Illinois passed away 5:40 PM March 20, 2016 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL.

Services will be 11 AM, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Texas Christian Church, Clinton, IL with Scott Marsh officiating.  Burial will follow in Texas Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL. 

Memorials may be directed to the Moultrie County Beacon or to Texas Christian Church.

David was born July 17, 1970 in Lincoln, IL the son of Robert L. and Linda C. (Coombs) Reed.

Survivors include his parents, Robert L. and Linda C. Reed, Clinton, IL; and brother, Robert (Susan) Reed, Jr., Waldorf, MD.

David enjoyed fishing, baseball games, firetrucks, airplanes and riding trains.  He especially enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics.  The family would like to thank Moultrie County Beacon staff and the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center for their excellent care.
