Glenna M. McCown 71 of Bloomington, Il. passed away 5:30 AM March 13, 2016 at her family residence.

Services will be 1 PM, Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with Pastor Dan Bell officiating. Burial will follow at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, Il. Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the funeral home.  The family requests casual attire.

Memorials may be directed to the ALS Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Glenna was born October 27, 1944 in Lafayette, IN the daughter of Artis and Ines (Harris) Bradshaw.  She married Michael Edwin McCown September 12, 1964 in Clinton, Il. He passed away January 2, 1998.

Survivors include her children, Terry (fiancé Susan Erwin) McCown, Bloomington, IL, Russell (Chris) McCown, Coatsville, IN, Wendy (Brian) Wunderle, Bloomington, IL, 7 grandchildren:  Savannha (Ricky) Vera, Dallas, TX; Brandon (Natalie) McCown, Gulfport, MS; Drew (fiancé Ashley Logan) Farrell, Wauconda, IL; Shawn (Jeriann) McCown, Hampton, VA; Ryan Farrell, Bloomington, IL; Bryan McCown, San Antonio, TX; and Jacob Summers, Bloomington, IL; 7 great-grandchildren:  Dominic Vera and Noah Vera, Dallas, TX; Katie Hernandez and Ava McCown, both of San Antonio, TX; Lanie Farrell, Bloomington, IL; Tate Logan, Wauconda, IL and Raiden McCown, Hampton, VA; sister, Lily (David) Allan, DeWitt, IL; her beloved dog, Rocky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1brother, Lawrence Dewey Bradshaw, 1 sister, Rosie C. Foster, and brother-in-law, William Foster.

Glenna retired from Eureka-Williams in Bloomington, IL after 28 years of service.  She later worked at Wal-Mart, Bloomington, IL and retired after 14 years of service.  Glenna enjoyed reading.  Glenna loved spending time with her family.  Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye.  The family would like to thank Glenna’s caregiver, Becki Swan for all of her care and support.
