Mary Margaret Calvert 79 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 3:45 AM February 22, 2016 at Heritage Health in Bloomington, Il.

Services will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. with J. Kent Hickerson and Chad Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, Il. Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.

Mary Margaret was born March 13, 1936 in Clinton, Il., the daughter of John K. and Lucy (Jones) Herington. She married Larry L. Calvert May 29, 1960 in Clinton, Il.

Survivors include her children, Alex (Sue) Calvert, Heyworth, Il., Jill Calvert, Westfield, Indiana, 7 Grandchildren, Brother, John Richard (Connie) Herington, Warrensburg, Il.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Son, Jeff Calvert and Sister, Patricia Wade.

Mary Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church, Clinton, Il. She was a graduate of Illinois State University with an Elementary Education Degree. She taught lower elementary grades in California, Aurora and Clinton, Il.
