Richard Eugene Spencer, Jr. 48 of Bloomington, Il. passed away 5:55 PM February 16, 2016 at his residence, Bloomington, Il.

No Services are planned at this time. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, Il. assisted the family with cremation rites.

Richard was born June 24, 1967 in Clinton, IL the son of Richard and Bonnie (Bishop) Spencer, Sr.

Survivors include his parents, Richard & Bonnie Spencer, Sr., Bloomington, Il.; sister, Monica Thomas, Bloomington, IL; nephews, Ryan and Spencer Thomas, Bloomington, IL; many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; best friend, Lois and K9s:  Baby Girl, Junior and Dacota.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  George Spencer and Jean Shaffer Henry, and Raymond and Mary Bishop.

Richard was raised in Tucson, AZ where he graduated from high school in 1985.  He joined the navy and was stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI before he moved back to Illinois in 1992.  Richard drove a school bus for Unit 5 schools, Normal, IL.

He played the violin, loved animals and made everyone laugh, a lot.  Dick, thank you for all the good memories.  Rest in peace our son, brother, uncle and friend.  We love you!
