Patricia Lueck of Argenta

Patricia “Pat” Lueck passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at her home in Argenta, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, February 14, 2014 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 2155 N. Oakland Ave., Decatur, IL with Pastor Bill Abbott and Pastor Brock Abbott officiating. Visitation will be at Calvert Funeral Home, Argenta, IL, Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be Windsor Congregational Cemetery, Windsor, WI.

Pat was born in Madison, WI on July 17, 1942 to Andrew and Wilma (Kopf) Quam. She graduated from DeForest High School, the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, and Illinois State University. She majored in Elementary Education and taught over 30 years for Argenta-Oreana Schools. She primarily taught Kindergarten and Third Grade.

On October 24, 1964 she married Douglas Lueck in Reedsburg, WI. They were blessed with a son, Chad and daughter, Kristi.

She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church where she had taught Sunday School and was active in the Ladies Guild. She also belonged to Retired Teachers Association, Prairie Homemakers and other civic organizations through the years.

She is survived by her Husband, her Mother, Wilma Behr of Edmond, OK, her Son, Chad (Toni) Lueck of Bloomington, IL, her Daughter, Kristi (John) Mulcahey of Waunakee, WI. Grandchildren – Karson and Holden Lueck and Taylor, Alanna and Brogan Mulcahey. Also her Brother, Byron (Elsa) Quam of Cottage Grove, WI, her Sister, Sharon (Shri) Satwalakar of Edmond, OK and her Step-brother, Mel Behr and her Step-sisters, Elaine Stipnek and Jan Housman.

She was preceded in death by her Father, her infant Sister, Lori and Step-father, Dan Behr.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Pilgrim Lutheran Church or the Argenta-Oreana Education Foundation.
