Marilyn Sue Hall of Clinton

Marilyn Sue Hall, 76, Clinton, died at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 15, 2014) at Heritage Health, Normal.

Her memorial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Nazarene Church, Clinton. Deacon Michael An, OSF Hospice chaplain, will officiate. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Stanford. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Marilyn was born Dec. 16, 1937, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the daughter of Lewis K. Phillips and Ethel Mae Wolfe Phillips. She married Loren R. Hall on June 27, 1971, in Fredericktown, Ohio. He passed away Dec. 30, 2008.

Survivors include special nephew, Stanley R. (Theresa) Hall, Normal, who took care of Marilyn since the death of Loren, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Also surviving are special sister-in-law, Verla Hall, Bloomington, and siblings, Thelma Frazee, Howard, Ohio, and Marjorie (Ronald L.) Smith, Utica, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marilyn was a longtime member of First Church of the Nazarene, Clinton, and she enjoyed reading.

The family expresses a special thank you to Liberty Village and its staff in Clinton, and to the hospice care staff at Heritage Health in Normal for their excellent care of Marilyn.
