Judy Diane McCrate Deitz, 61, Heyworth, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday (Dec. 29, 2013) surrounded by family.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Heyworth. Her funeral will follow at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Randolph Township Memorial Cemetery, Heyworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Judy McCrate benefit fund in care of First State Bank of Bloomington or Heyworth.

Judy was born April 18, 1952, to Joe and Nina Mae Harmon Deitz. They survive.

Also surviving are two sons, Jason Clesson, Heyworth, and Matt McCrate, Moline; daughter, Amber McCrate, Bloomington; sister, Jan (Brent) Sporleder–Fisher; and grandchildren, Riley Klaus, Chloe Clesson, Derrian Mosley, Zoe, Matthew and Mason McCrate.

Judy was a fun loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She had a beautiful smile. She enjoyed assisting with the care of her mom, shopping with her sister and best friend, Jan, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and children, and serving her Lord Jesus by helping others.
