Mary Katerine Kerley of Waynesville

Mary Katherine Kerley, 96, Waynesville, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 4, 2013) at her residence.

Her funeral will be at noon Saturday at Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home, Danvers. The Rev. Steve Evans will officiate. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the memorial home. The family suggests memorials be made to Wapella Christian Church, Wapella.

Mary was born May 21, 1917, in Danvers, the daughter of William and Effie Roach Hess.

She married Henry Ray Kerley on Feb. 23, 1946, in Decatur. He passed away in March 1998.

Surviving are two children, Sharon Kerley, Waynesville, and Lonnie (Jan) Kerley, Clinton; two grandchildren, Andy (Courtney) Kerley, Cerro Gordo, and Becky (Brandon) Robinson, Clinton; and two great-grandchildren, Mia and Jack Kerley, Cerro Gordo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Louise and Adell; and one brother, John.
