Judith L. Thomas of Clinton

Judith L. Thomas, 74, of Clinton died 11:42 a.m. Friday (Oct. 18, 2013) in Manor Court.

 

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Ken Hickerson officiating. The family requests casual attire. Visitation will be one hour before services. Judith was born Aug. 26, 1939, in DeWitt County, the daughter of Willard Daughtery and Georgia Howerton. She was raised by Georgia and Richard Woolridge. She was affiliated with First Baptist Church, Clinton. She attended Farmer City schools and graduated from Farmer City High School. She retired from Revere Copper & Brass after 31 years of service and was an in-home caregiver. She married Robert D. Thomas on March 15, 1958 in Clinton. He passed away May 13, 2003.

 

Surviving are her sons, Robert D. Thomas Jr. and Richard A. Thomas, both of Clinton; granddaughters, Heather Thomas and Holly Thomas, both of Clinton; great-grandchildren, Riley, Cody, Annalea, Landen, Leo, Joel and Avalynn; sisters, Janice Campbell of DeLand; Betty (Essel) Burton of Clinton; brothers, William (Beverly) Daughtery of Lincoln, Neb.; Ray (Marilyn) Woolridge of LeRoy.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother and sister; sister, Rosemary Johnson; and brothers, Paul Woolridge, Bob Woolridge, Bill Woodridge, David Woolridge and Jim Woolridge.
