Bobby Brown of Mt. Pulaski

Bobby C. “Bob” Brown, 60, passed away at 8:12 P.M. on July 22, 2013 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Bob was born on August 12, 1952 in Monticello, IL, son of Russell and Verna Cox Brown. He married Lisa Milner on April 7, 1973 in Mt Pulaski, she survives him. He was an assembler at Caterpillar in Decatur for 39 years and he was a member of the Mt Pulaski Christian Church . He loved to fish and hunt and also loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Also surviving are two children: Kara (Jeremy) Davis of Mt Pulaski and Clayton ( Alicia Garnett, fiancé) Brown of Mt Pulaski; two grandchildren: Kennedy and Broxton Davis, the joy of his life, of Mt Pulaski; five sisters: Betty Ford of Kansas; June (Bob) Scrivner of Missouri; Glenda (Glen) Roberts of Indiana; Kay Taylor of Roanoke, IL; and Sue (Bob) Hibbs of Decatur, IL; three brothers: Herman (Sharon) Brown of Maroa,IL; Jody Brown of Kentucky, and Roy Allen of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Russell Brown Jr, and one sister-in-law Diana Brown.

Services for Bob will be 10 A.M. Friday July 26, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt Pulaski with Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 Thursday July 25, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt Pulaski. Burial at Mt Pulaski Cemetery will follow after the service. Memorials may be made to the Kennedy and Broxton Davis College Fund or Mt Pulaski Christian Church.
