Harold E. Begolka Sr., 80, Lincoln, died at 6:39 p.m. Wednesday (May 1, 2013) at St. John’s Hospice, Springfield.

Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Jan Johnson officiating.

Burial: New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Survivors: two sons, Harold E. (Shirley) Begolka Jr., Springfield, and Larry Alan Begolka, Des Moines, Iowa; one daughter, Laura Lee Begolka, Springfield; one brother, Robert Lee (Sharon) Begolka, and one sister, Mary Ann Aper, both of Lincoln; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
