William “Bill” O. Lane, 76, Gering, Neb., formerly of Clinton, died Sunday (April 21, 2013) at Regional West Medical Center, Scottsbluff, Neb.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gering Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Don Mathis officiating.

Burial: Creighton Valley, south of Melbeta, Neb.

Visitation: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the chapel.

Memorials: may be given to the family.

Survivors: his wife, Mae; daughters, Louise Rounds and Margaret (Melvin) Mehling; two grandsons; one great-grandson; three stepgrandchildren; numerous stepgreat-grandchildren; and brothers, James (Mary) Lane and Kenneth Lane.
