Shirley Marie Lamb, native of Bement, Illinois entered into rest early evening on March 27, 2013. She was born in the family farm house just west of Bement on May 31, 1930. She was preceded in death by Mother, Lelah Lamb, Father, Harry Lamb and a sister who was lost at a very young age. She grew up and went onto Illinois State University and gained a Bachelor’s in Accounting with a minor in Physical Education. After college, she went on to work for Attorney Arnold Sievers as a Secretary until retirement. In her final years Shirl lived in Florida, The Sunshine State, as it could never be too warm for her. She leaves behind a family and several cousins who loved her very much.
