Nancy C. Gregory, 71, Clinton, died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 17, 2013) at her family residence.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Lisenby Cemetery, Lane. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association or Second Chance Adoption. 

She was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Clinton, daughter of James Lyle and Dorothy Reynolds Houchin. She married Richard E. Gregory on March 12, 1960, in Clinton. He passed away June 3, 2003.

Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Ann Thomas, Monticello, and Susan Lynnette Miller, Denver, Colo.; one son, Richard E. Gregory Jr., Clinton; two sisters, Jean Pearson, Shipshewana, Ind., and Brenda Lewis, Chase, Mich.; two brothers, Jerry Reynolds, Clinton, and Scott Ramsey, Sarasota, Fla.; sister-in-law, Marie Jackson, Clinton; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Jackson. 

She retired from Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4168. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Clinton Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed reading.
