Mark R. Lord, Sr, 52, of Clinton, IL, passed away at 11:05 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his family residence in Clinton, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Calvert Funeral Home in Clinton, IL with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Clinton, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Calvert Funeral Home in Clinton, IL. Memorials may be made to his Grandchildren.

Mark was born on July 23, 1960 in Clinton, IL, the son of Richard E. and Bernadine (Hickman) Lord.

He is survived by his fiancé, Pauline Gaultney, Clinton, IL; 3 children, Mark “Randy” (Fiance, Mindy Mountjoy) Lord, Jr., Mackinaw, Il, Brittany Lord, Clinton, IL and Lacey Lord, Clinton, IL; 4 Grandchildren, Kierston, Amia, Kale and Levi. Also surviving are his mother, Bernadine Lord, Clinton, IL; brothers and sisters, Ronald (Louann) Lord, Clinton, Il, Alan (Lisa) Lord, Charleston, IL, Mary Alice (Gordon) Hurst, Mattoon, IL, Linda (Rick) Wooldridge, Clinton, IL and Rick (Elizabeth) Lord, Clinton, IL. He was preceded in death by his Father; Son, Stephen Lord; Niece, Katie; and Nephew, Shawn.

He worked as a Millwright at Kelly Construction in Decatur, IL. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
