John E. Allen, 71 of Bement, IL., passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 3:07 A.M. at his residence in Bement, IL. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Bement United Methodist Church in Bement, IL. Pastor Jeremiah Gregory will officiate. There will be no visitation. John’s wishes were to donate his body for scientific study. The family has requested casual dress for the memorial service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Decatur Memorial Hospice Program or the Bement E.M.T.’s.
