Barbara Joan Carr, 78, of Monticello, passed away at 2:15 p.m., on July 6, 2012 at Carle Hospital, Urbana. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Monticello United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Whitaker officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Private family interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
