Carol Ann Fabris, 77, Clinton, died at 1:17 p.m. Friday (Jan. 18, 2013) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton. Walter Neuenschwander will officiate. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.

Memorials may be made to the Carol Ann Fabris Memorial Fund.

She was born Sept. 19, 1935, in Springfield, daughter of Wilbur Meteer and Grace Dobson. She married Robert Inman in 1956 and he passed away in 1960. She later married Paul E. Fabris on Aug. 27, 1961.

Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Fabris, Clinton; sons, Donald E. (Julie) Fabris, Fond du Lac, Wis., and Larry L. (Regina) Fabris, Clinton; four grandchildren, Isaac, Logan, Sarah and Lauren Fabris; one brother, William (Pat) Meteer, Athen; and  brother-in-law, Tom Ostermeier, Athens. Also surviving are three nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Donna Jean Ostermeier.

Carol attended the Jacksonville School for the Deaf. She was an avid Cubs fan and she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family and her cats.
