Judith C. Burke, 75, of Monticello, passed away at 9:40 a.m., on August 8, 2015 at Carle Hospital, Urbana.

Judith was born on October 10, 1939 in Piatt County, IL the daughter of Urius and Ruby (Purcell) Vinson. She married Dale Burke on August 2, 1954 in Jonesboro, IL.

Surviving is her daughter; Kim Burke of White Heath, 4 grandsons, 1 step-grandchild, 1 step-great grandchild, sisters; Betty Hayes of Monticello, Iris Burgin of Monticello, Audrey Reynolds of White Heath, and a very special nephew; Jim Vinson of White Heath. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter (Dianna), and son (Clayton).

Judith retired from Viobin in Monticello. She enjoyed reading and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Funeral services will be held at a later date with Mackey-Wright Funeral Home handling the services.
