Judith Ann (Benson) McGarrigle, Age 70, Passed away on Friday March 9, 2012 at the Home and Hospice Care of R.I. with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. McGarrigle. Born in Milan, Tennessee, daughter of the late Ivan and Alma Jean (Crisman) Benson. She worked in Food Service for RIARC for 18 years, prior to retiring. Judith enjoyed spending time with her family. She often stated "Her contribution to life was raising her children right, to make their contributions to the world." Judith was a firm believer in the Guardian Angel, and several times called upon her to help others in their time of need. She is survived by five children, Antoinette "Tony" McGarrigle, of Woonsocket, Angela S. McGarrigle and her companion Andrew Orr, of Maine, Joseph P. McGarrigle and wife Lisa of Pennsylvania, Mary Jean and husband Scott Fenner, of Florida, William I. McGarrigle and his wife Gina, of Massachusetts, One brother, Dean Benson, of Illinois, two sisters, Patricia Gross, of Illinois and Donna Flenner, of Illinois. Thirteen Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by her canine companion Chloe. She was also the mother of the late Chad M. McGarrigle and sister of the late Norma Martin. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 31, 2012 at 12 Noon in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited.
