Wendell W. “Windy” Lewis Jr., 79, of Lincoln passed away Wednesday (Dec. 21, 2011) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Holy Family Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Simon Taabu officiating. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 263 of Lincoln. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lincoln, at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln, is in charge of arrangements.
