LaVern M. Gerth, 93 of Monticello, IL, formerly of Knierim, IA passed away at 2:00am on December 6, 2011. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Knierim, IA with Pastor Chadric Dietrich officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30am preceding the service. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aide and the Piatt County Nursing Home.
