Graduated as RN from Jackson Park Hospital, Chicago, IL. Worked in husband Gustave Rhodes' medical office for 42 years, including in Maroa, IL 1943-1954. Worked as Gray Lady American Red Cross, taught first aid for many years, member Red Cross Disaster Team in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Girl Scout leader for 15 years, served on Camping Committee Chaparral Girl Scout Council in Albuquerque, NM for 11 years. Volunteer for KAFB Woman's Club for 27 years. Past member National Assn. Miniature Enthusiasts, Havasu Gem and Mineral Society, NAACOG, Lake Havasu Food Bank Board of Directors, volunteer LHC Food Bank for six years. Member Hart County KY Historical Society, volunteer Friends of the Library Louisville, KY and Henderson, NV. Predeceased by husband Gustave G. Rhodes, MD. Survived by son Robert of Hotevilla, AZ, daughter Diane of Henderson, NV, and daughter Jan Rhodes Ketzler of Madison, WI, grandchildren Collin and Kerry of Albuquerque, NM and Bryson of Hotevilla, AZ, great-grandchildren Sydney, Payton, Chelsea, Wesley, Dillon, Avery Eloise, and Aiden of Albuquerque, NM and Alicia and Lorene of Hotevilla, AZ, and great-great grandson Diesel James of Albuquerque, as well as brother C.M "Bob" Wilkinson of Louisville, KY.
