Karl William Betz, of Warrensburg, Illinois, died September 29, 2011 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. According to his wishes, there will not be any funeral or memorial service. Burial will be conducted privately. Memorials may be made out to the First United Methodist Church of Springfield, Illinois, or to the United Methodist Church of Warrensburg, Illinois.
