Charles L. Tomlinson, 71, Beason, died at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 27, 2012) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Clarence Mankin officiating.

Burial: Harmony Cemetery, Beason.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials: Illinois Junior Rodeo Association or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. 

Survivors: his wife, Laura Dahmm Tomlinson, Beason; children, Lisa (Forrest) Bell, Burley, Idaho; Lynda (John) Karr, Altus, Okla.; Will (Mandy) Tomlinson, Athens; Jason (Heather) Tomlinson, Lincoln; and Esther (Kyle Farmer) Tomlinson, Elkhart; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Frank (Cheryl) Tomlinson, Carson City, Nev., and Tom Tomlinson, Elko, Nev.
