Joyce M. Short, 82, Lincoln, died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday (April 22, 2012) at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.

Service: 7 p.m Thursday at Life Pointe Church of God, 601 Pulaski St., Lincoln, with the Rev. C. Douglas Bowers Sr. officiating.

Burial: private family burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, rural Emden.  

Visitation: 6 p.m. until time of the service at the church. Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be made to her family

Survivors: her husband, James Russell Short, Lincoln, her children, Zelma (Bill) Martin, Atlanta, and Billy J. Short, Lincoln; and four grandchildren.
