Nancy W. Quick, 72, of Bement, IL, passed away at 3:37pm, Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello, IL Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm, on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lake Fork Cemetery, rural Atwood, IL. Nancy was born on May 10, 1939 in Everett, PA, the daughter of Omar and Hildred Wilson Tice. She married Gilbert L. Quick on April 7, 1958 in Tuscola, IL. He survives. Other survivors include a son: Robert Lee Quick and wife: Julie of Lexington, KY, daughter: Susan Larimore and husband: Richard of Bement, IL, grandchildren: Kierstin, Andrew and Morgan Quick, brother: John Tice of Pendleton, IN and a sister: Willa Thiele of Indian Land, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials are suggested to the Piatt County Nursing Home Alzheimer's Unit or Lake Fork United Church of Christ. Nancy worked for Eagan Bus Service for 17 years and she also worked at the State Bank of Bement for 9 years. She was a member of the Lake Fork United Church of Christ and she was the former president and member of the Decatur Quilt Club. Nancy enjoyed snowmobiling, quilting and cross stitching.
