Thomas D. Cummins, 52, of Farmer City, courageous battle with a prolonged illness ended at 8:20 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 in BroMenn Medical Center with his family by his side. Private family services to celebrate Thomas' life will be held. Thomas was born September 19, 1959 in Decatur, the son of Curtis and Diane (Eddleman) Cummins. He was previously employed with Mitsubishi Manufacturing in Normal. He enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening. He leaves behind his best friend and partner Robert Birkey of Farmer City, mother Diane Cummins of Deca-tur, brothers John Cummins of Alabama and Patrick Cummins of Decatur, sister Mary Gaede of Decatur, nephew Zach Gaede of Decatur, and niece Alex Gaede of Decatur.
