Anna Carolyn Moore-Lasmett of Winchester

Anna Carolyn Moore-Lashmett, 78, Winchester, passed away Friday afternoon (March 23, 2012) at Dr. John Warner Hospital, Clinton.

Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Coonrod Funeral Home, Winchester. Burial will be in Winchester City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

She was born May 8, 1933, the daughter of Luther and Bess Welch Moore, and Clement and Lois Welch Thomas in whose home she was raised. Her parents preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Myra (Bob) Munds, Clinton; Jeffery (Wendy) Lashmett, Manchester; Dana Lashmett-Smith, Terry (Terrisa) Lashmett, Julie Lashmett and Amy Lashmett Davidson, all of Winchester; and Lisa (Mark) Hatton, Bloomington; a sister, Shirley Thomas Evans, Largo, Fla.; several cousins, nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was a member of Royal Neighbors of America and First Baptist Church in Winchester. She was a charter member of the Scott County Art Association. She enjoyed participating in community events. She loved her family, friends, music, gardening, art, local sports, and sunrises and sunsets.
