Betty J. Burton, 88, of Monticello, passed away at 8:43 p.m., on January 9, 2012 at the Piatt County Nursing Home, Monticello. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello with Pastor Darrell D. Seest officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
