Gene E. Stensel, 82, Farmer City, formerly of LeRoy, passed away at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday (July 25, 2012) at Farmer City Rehabilitation and Health Care.   Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy.   Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, is in charge of arrangements.  Memorials may be made to Farmer City Rehabilitation Activities Department. 
Surviving family members are   Jeffrey Stensel, Glen Falls, N.Y.; and Gregory Stensel Hause, Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Gloria Fluegel, LeRoy; Harriett Stensel, Champaign; and Paula Stensel, Morton; two granddaughters; and one grandson.
