Kenneth R. Smith, 55, Waynesville, died at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday (May 22, 2012) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, memorial service at Vale Community Church, Bloomington, with the Rev. Ken Graham officiating.

Burial: Interment will be private.

Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials: Home Sweet Home Ministries to be used to light the Jesus Cares sign. Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors: wife, Linda Smith, Waynesville; two daughters, Rachel (Joey) Spurlock, Atlanta, and Talea Smith, Waynesville; three grandchildren; his father, David Smith, East Peoria; a sister, Niki Johnson, Peoria; and his stepfather, Wilbur Barry, Washington.
