Also surviving are one son, Joseph Daniel Zimmerman, Bloomington; one daughter, Ashley Danielle Zimmerman, Heyworth; father, Gerald (Sharon) Riggs, Brimfield; second father, Carl Gazelle, Heyworth; mother-in-law, Carol Tellkamp, Fort Myers, Fla.; one brother, Jerry (Molly) Riggs, Shelby Township, Mich.; one sister, Jamie (Doug) Cline, Heyworth; stepbrother, Greg Gazelle, Georgia; stepsisters, Robin Mcelhiney, Bloomington; Leslie Pool, Avon; Karrie (Chuck) Jones, Brimfield; and Amy Stuckey, Peoria; “acquired” grandchildren, Braxton and Eli Tharp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ella Gazelle; father-in-law, Eugene “Jeep” Zimmerman; and stepmother, Darla Riggs.

Kelly worked at Country Companies as an underwriter for 10 years. She also ran an in-home day care for 15 years. Most everyone that knew Kelly has tasted her wonderful cooking, especially Rocky. For whatever occasion, she made sure that there was something homemade to eat and was especially known for her cheesy tators. No one ever left her house without being offered food and drink. She was best described by her daughter as a born hostess. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
