Ruby O. Fay, 99, of Bement, IL., passed away at 3:45 A.M., on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Bement Healthcare Center, Bement, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Bement United Methodist Church, 249 N. Piatt St., Bement. The Rev. E. Paul Unger will officiate. Burial will be in the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bement Township Library.

Ruby was born on March 5, 1914 in Bement, IL., a son of James and Winifred Green Busick. She married Clyde Fay in 1940, and he passed away on December 27, 1981. Surviving children include; Alice Ann Butler of San Diego, CA., and Jim (Merry Jo) Fay of Sidney, IL. Also surviving are 4 granchildren; Brett Carstens, Todd Carstens, Aaron (Meghan) Fay and Samantha Fay, as well as three great-grandchildren; Ethan, Logan and Andrew Fay. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband. Ruby was a member of the Bement United Methodist Church.
