William E. “Bill” Beadles 78 of Clinton, Illinois passed away 1:43 PM February 9, 2016 at his family residence, Clinton, IL.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with Rev. Leanne Noland officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be 5 – 7 P.M Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Clinton United Methodist Church or the DeWitt County Human Resource Center.

Bill was born December 23, 1937 in Clinton, IL the son of Roscoe and Rachael (Vinson) Beadles. He married Nancy T. Theobald April 18, 1970 in Clinton, IL.

Survivors include his wife: Nancy T. Beadles, Clinton, IL; children: Stephanie (Rennie) Cluver, DeWitt, IL, Matthew Beadles, Clinton, IL; 4 grandchildren: MaKayle Beadles, Bloomington, IL, Mason Beadles, Oakwood, IL, Brooks and Lilah Cluver both of DeWitt, IL; brother: Robert (Inez) Beadles, MA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Bill worked for the city of Clinton for 52 years. He enjoyed racing and old hot rod cars, especially working on his 1937 Chevy Coupe. The family would especially like to thank, Sarah Perez, Dora Alwood, Sarah Miller, Krissy Shoufler, Sharon Simmons, Vital Wellness, Community Care Partners and OSF Hospice for their loving care throughout Bill’s illness.
